ROAD

There is a country road behind our house that we love. We really enjoy going for walks on this country road. Here are some spring pictures of things that we see while walking on this road.

There is a barn that used to be a tobacco barn. They used to hang and dry tobacco in this barn. Now it stores hay and farm equipment.

We can hear the cows mooing…very cool. Sometimes we can hear them moo even from our backyard. It’s pretty fun.

SPARKLERS!

July 4, 2008 was spent grilling burgers, hanging out with friends and neighbors, and playing with sparklers and fireworks! Fireworks are legal here…whoo hoo!

Snappy, our canoe, was the perfect cooler to hold ice and drinks!

We were with friends and family, but we sure missed Rebekah and Michael.

Lemonade, grilled burgers, potato salad, southern style baked beans, etc. etc. etc. and too many deserts to list!

Neighbors couldn’t wait for dark to light fireworks…and we were happy about that!

The sunset was gorgeous that night. It was so amazing to be sitting outside, eating and have this beautiful sunset fill the sky!
